The dream child of Kizhakkiveettil Balakrishna Menon, Hotel Bharath was founded
in November, 1964 and is now run by his 4 sons. 5 decades’ worth of hard work
and
consistency has allowed us to be one of the best vegetarian restaurants in
Thrissur.
Serving food that tastes just like ‘amma’s cooking’ is the ethos on which our
restaurant was built and we strive to carry this virtue into the future. From
individually picking out vegetables for the day to always tasting the food
before we
serve it, managing the kitchen, the dining halls and the billing sections, all 4
brothers are always at the forefront of the restaurant’s everyday functioning,
with
a passion that has been passed on by their father.
We are dedicated to serving you delicious, hygienic and wholesome food, with no
compromises. We provide bountiful choices of traditional, savoury comfort food
made from locally sourced, impeccable quality ingredients from the Thrissur
Market to the best spices and masalas. Our facilities are designed to ensure
pristine
cooking and storing conditions. Our kitchen walls and ceiling are made of 304
grade stainless steel. State-of-the-art automated machines and cold storage
rooms
are used to maintain freshness in our raw materials. Abiding by all safety &
hygiene standards and regulations is an ethical standpoint that we do not budge
from.
Hotel Bharath runs today due to the relentless efforts and hard work of our team
of
employees, most of whom, have been with us for over two decades. As per FoSTaC
regulations, we have trained and certified food safety officers - ensuring the
quality of food and service at all times. We also have a dedicated supervisor
who documents all inventory and temperatures at regular intervals. In an
everyday
effort to bring you wholesome and comforting food that is traditional in taste
and
flavour, we as a family, put in our heart and soul into the work we do.
